Choiseul Province is one of the nine provinces of Solomon Islands and has its Provincial Capital located on Taro Island. The Province is bordered by Isabel Province at its eastern end, Vella la Vella, Kolombangara and New Georgia Islands of the Western Province to its south and Bougainville Island (PNG) to its north west.
The province is made up of three main islands that include Choiseul, which is commonly referred to as Lauru by people from the island, Vaghena and Rob Roy. The province also administers the Falkie Atoll.
